Detailed introduction and application of the characteristics of industrial ceramic processing

Industrial ceramics have a series of advantages such as heat resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, and can replace metal composite materials and organic polymer raw materials for harsh environments. They have become an indispensable key raw material in traditional industrial production upgrading, new industries, and high-tech. They have broad application prospects in fields such as power energy, aerospace, mechanical equipment, automobiles, electronics, and chemical engineering.

Zirconia ceramic is a type of industrial ceramic, which is produced and processed by selecting suitable fine silica zirconia ceramic powder, pressing it into shape, calcining it at a certain temperature, and forming it. Good physical properties and wear resistance. The tensile strength, impact toughness, and Vickers hardness of zirconia ceramics each reach 95.3Mpa, 9.1Mpam1/1, and 12.7Gpa.

Aluminum trioxide ceramics have high melting point, high strength, high compressive strength, and excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and material dielectric properties. However, due to its high ductility, poor impact resistance, and heat shock resistance, it cannot withstand strong changes in working temperature.

It can be used to produce furnace bodies, furnace materials, ignition coils for gas turbines, as well as high toughness cutting tools. It is also a good material for manufacturing thermocouple insulation sleeves.

Metal oxide ceramics in industrial ceramics mainly include aluminum oxide, zirconia, zirconia corundum, and aluminum titanate. The prominent advantage of metal oxide porcelain is that it does not have the problem of air oxidation, the raw materials are of high quality and affordable, and the production process is simple. Aluminum trioxide and zirconia have indoor temperature physical properties, high toughness, and resistance to solvent corrosion.
